What's New?
- Accessibility - First batch of Core a11y fixes for Theming-based elements and pages have been released.
- New filter - External applications - Once enabled,Content owners using the new theming my-media (DS) can now filter by external applications in My-media, allowing them to see how their content is used in other applications. If you haven’t used this feature yet, you can enable it from the categories module (KMS-29374). This is particularly useful when you have multiple instances, such as a KMS video portal and a KAF integration in an LMS, enabling the customer to see where each media is used within all apps.
- Moodle 4.4 release - A new Moodle plugin version to support Moodle 4.4 has been released. As a part of this version, we fixed several known bugs. The plugin supports Moodle versions 4.1(LTS), 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4. (ILMS-637)
- Load more in Channel playlists - In Theming-based channels, a 'Load More Playlists' button will appear when there are many playlists. This feature helps to speed up the channel's loading time. (KMS-29048)
- REACH Task ID - We have added the task ID in the request details for our users’ convenience. (REACH2-1233)

What's new?
- Theming-based My Media and Publish - The My Media page is the latest to join the long list of Theming-based pages. In addition to the slick new UI, the page contains new vertical filters (the same as used in the Global search page), a new Explore section, and new bulk capabilities, allowing owners to change ownership and collaborators in one bulk action. See our article My Media - Theming for more information.
Additionally, the new My Media page also features an updated UI for Publishing capabilities. Now available on both My Media and the single media pages, the UI provides a quicker way to change and view publishing statuses.
You can turn on the new feature from the Theming module. See Publish media - Theming for more information.

The new publishing capability will automatically appear on the media page if you're already using the Theming-based single media page, as shown below:
The new publish flow in the single media page - Template pages, Registration component - An adjustment to the component now allows the registration to open on the template page, and not the "/register" page. (KMS-29730)

What's new?
- Publish - Previously, if a collaborator published your content in a channel or category you didn't have access rights to, you couldn't unpublish it. Now, as part of our theming-based publishing updates, you can unpublish your media from any category or channel.(KMS-26945)
- Multiple homepages and a new landing page -This new feature in the navigation module allows admins to select a dedicated landing page for guests. Previously, guests would see either the login page or the same home page as all users, depending on the authentication settings. Now, you can create a specific page just for guests. For logged-in users, multiple homepages are available based on user groups. Different groups will see homepages tailored to their specific needs. See Navigation module fo more information. (KMS-28907).
- Channel Subscription - Admins can now choose to enable Channel Subscription by default for all channels from the Channelsubscription module. (KMS-29021)

- Navigation - new custom page navbar item - Admins are now able to connect the custom/template pages to the navbar and control the navbar item directly from the page itself using the page's published status. (KMS-28962)
- Playlist + Document entry - For administrators who choose to enable it, the playlist player can now show document entries. The player shows the link to the Video Portal where the document can be viewed outside of the playlist. (KMS-28646)

What's new?
- Theming in KAF - Single Media & Media Gallery pages - Both KAF's 'Single Media' and 'Media Gallery' pages have been added to the Theming set, allowing administrators to set up their KAF/LMS with the theming-based capabilities. (ILMS-622)
In addition to the new visual appearance of the page, the media gallery comes with a new capability allowing admins and course owners to add a header on top of the page:
The media page now includes a "back" button to enhance user navigation within the app:

- Theming
- Global Search - The global search page is joining the theming based pages. As always, enable it from the Theming module using the globalsearch field. (KMS-27990)
A major change to the UI/UX is the vertical filtering (vs the horizontal filtering in the non-theming page). Learn more about the the page in the Global Search article. - Administration login page - The login page for the KMS/KAF admin section is now a part of the Theming pages. Like all Theming pages, it's enabled from the Theming module, and is connected to the "login" toggle, allowing admins to choose when to use it. (KMS-28574)

- Chrome Partitioned Cookies secure embed handling - As stated on previous releases, a new feature was introduced called "partitioned cookies".
- In this release, we will be adding automated support for instances using the secure embed feature, preventing the use of partitioned cookies in cases where the secure embed is set up to open outside of the iFrame (autoRedirectIframe=No) to prevent authentication loop. (KMS-28779)
- In addition, for secure embed users who are using the authentication in the iFrame (autoRedirectIframe=Yes), a new alert will show to users in case the secure embed iFrame cannot save 3rd party cookies on the current site, allowing users to navigate to the site to view the media on the site. What's New
- Chrome Partitioned Cookies support - As stated by Google, the Chrome browser will start restricting 3rd party cookies gradually, and is introducing a new feature called "partitioned cookies" (AKA CHIPS). Partitioned cookies should be used when the sites are in a "cross domain" situation. If your KAF URL does not have an alias to match your LMS URL, that is a cross domain situation. - Playlist links - Continuing the work from previous releases, a new configuration is now available for both Channel playlists and Template Pages playlists, allowing the admin to choose what happens when clicking on "See all" for the playlist. Now admins can choose between going to the playlist player page (with the list of other entries in the playlist) or to the playlist grid page. The new config is available in the Template Pages for custom single playlist only using the PlaylistDisplay field. For Channel playlists, this feature can be setup from the channelplaylists module, using the PlaylistDisplay field (KMS-28480, KMS-28407)
- Documents and Playlists - Documents can now be added to playlists. The player currently will not display the document entries, but when using the Playlist Grid view, users will be able to see it. In upcoming releases, we will be adding support for document capabilities in the player. (KMS-28409)

- New "Monochromatic mode" allows you to choose the primary color, and let the studio do the rest.
