About
Media owners can add metadata (such as name, description, and tags) in different languages for their media via the Languages tab of the edit page.
This helps present media details to viewers in their preferred language.
This feature requires the Application module to be enabled, with the 'multi-language instance' setting selected.
Add a language
- Access the edit page.
- Click on the Languages tab.

- On the 'Languages' page, click the Enable languages button.
- Select a language from the Language drop-down list.
- Click Save.

The 'Set your default language' window opens.

The first language you add is automatically set as the default, so the Set default language checkbox is unavailable at this stage.

The language is now set for the media metadata.

Add additional languages
- Click + Add Language and repeat the steps above for the additional language.
- When adding additional languages, the Set default language checkbox is available, so you can change the default language if needed.
Edit an existing language
- Click the edit (pencil) icon to the right of the language, edit the details in the chosen language, then click Save.
Delete a language
- Click the delete (X) icon to the right of the language.
You can not delete a language marked as Default.
Links to the Languages tab are also available from the Details tab to help you prepare your media metadata.
