Introducing Kaltura Meetings

Kaltura Meetings are web-based, virtual spaces that act like real rooms for meeting and collaborating. They are always at the same link, so you can prepare them in advance, meet, take a break, and pick up where you left off later. You'll still find your chat history, and any video or file you had, just as you left it.

This advanced version of Meetings is more intuitive and provides more flexibility. You can define more session types by setting stage access, adding branding, creating storyboards, publishing polls directly from the session, and generally giving our audiences, speakers, and moderators a better experience.

Furthermore, we have elevated the video experience through our innovative Simulcast feature which enables three video stream layers – High, Medium, and Low. Each layer configuration includes maximum bandwidth, scalable resolution adjustments (1x, 2x, and 4x), and maximum frames per second. This on-the-fly adaptation ensures that users receive the best possible video stream tailored to their specific conditions, optimizing bandwidth usage and delivering a superior viewing experience.

Kaltura Meetings is practiced in all Interactive Sessions and DIY Live Broadcast Sessions in Kaltura Events.

Sessions created before Oct 1st, 2023 will still use KME NR2. New sessions (both for new AND existing events) will automatically be created in the new room.

Meetings integrates with MS Teams, Learning Management Systems, your organization's Single-Sign-On (SSO), and more.

The new Kaltura Meetings experience has been developed with various practical meeting tools:
