We’re excited to introduce the Kaltura Video Connector for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), a new integration that brings Kaltura’s video capabilities directly into AEM as a Cloud Service.

What's new

This release introduces the Kaltura Video Connector for AEM as a Cloud Service, enabling authors to embed Kaltura media directly in AEM pages.

It includes:

• Native AEM component: Authors can drag and drop the Kaltura Video component onto a page and embed media from their Kaltura library.

• Seamless embed using Kaltura’s browse, search and embed (BSE) capabilities: Authors can browse, search, preview, and embed Kaltura videos, media, and players without leaving the AEM page editor.

• Cloud-native, lightweight and enterprise-ready: The integration can easily be installed through Adobe’s Cloud Manager. Customer media stays within Kaltura while AEM only stores lightweight references, reducing storage and speeding up publishing. Only the content authors are authorized to use is visible to them, based on their access level in Kaltura.

• Analytics-ready syncing: Analytics, including viewer data (anonymous and authenticated), are automatically passed to Kaltura Management Console (KMC) out of the box.
