About
The Themingcategory module lets administrators create player sets that channel, gallery, and media gallery owners can assign to their content, enabling different branding, language settings, and playback experiences for different audiences.
When a player set is assigned, media plays using the configured players instead of the site's default players.
This module replaces the legacy Channeltheme and Categorytheme modules for Theming-based channels, galleries, and media galleries.
Configure
1. Go to your Configuration Management console, and click on the Themingcategory module. You can also navigate directly using a link: https://{your_site_URL}/admin/config/tab/themingcategory.

The Themingcategory page displays.

2. Configure the following:
enabled - Set to 'Yes' to enable the module.
Player set
Create one or more player sets that channel, gallery, and media gallery owners can assign to their content.
Each player set assigns a player to supported media types, such as video, audio, and quizzes. Owners and managers can then select the appropriate player set from the Settings & layout tab on the edit page.
a. Click +Add "playerset".
An additional field displays.

b. playerSetName - Enter a name for the player set.
c. Click +Add "player".

An additional field displays.
d. entrytype - Select the media type to associate with a player.

The available options depend on your Kaltura configuration and may include the following supported entry types:
- Video
- Quiz
- Audio
- Playlists
- Document
- Draft
- Image
- Webcast/Live
- Meeting
- Interactive video
- YouTube
A player set contains one player mapping per media type, such as an audio player for audio content and a video player for video content. When media is opened, the system automatically uses the appropriate player. If you don't configure a player for a particular media type, the default player is used.
e. playerID - Enter the ID of the player to use for the selected media type.

Looking for your player ID? See Introduction to the Player Studio.
3. Click Save.
