With Player Studio, you can:

  • Customize player features such as captions, playback speed, audio tracks, social sharing, related videos, and interactive video elements
  • Design player skins to match branding requirements
  • Use available SDKs and contribution libraries for plugin development
  • Generate lightweight and secure embed codes for different environments

Looking for your player ID? See the Understand the players list section below to learn where to find your player ID for use in other modules and integrations.

Access Player Studio

  1. Log into the Rich Media CMS.
  2. Click the Studio tab in the top navigation bar.
  3. Player Studio opens and displays a list of all available players in your account.

Understand player types

Depending on your account configuration, Player Studio may display the following tabs:

  • Customized Players
  • Default Players

If your account does not contain Default Players, the tabs are not displayed and all players appear in a single list.

Default players

Default players are created automatically by the system.

Default players have a three-dot menu that contains two options - Edit and Duplicate. You can't create or delete Default players.

Customized players

Customized players are created by the Rich Media CMS administrators. The Customized players have a three-dot menu that contains three options - Edit, Duplicate, and Delete.

The following fields are available in the players list:

There are two ways to mark a player as a favorite:
