This article explains how Kaltura integrates with Blackboard Ultra environments running in Dual Course Mode, where both Original Course View and Ultra Course View courses are enabled.
Dual Course Mode environments use two different integration technologies:
- Building Block (B2) for Original Course View courses
- LTI 1.3 Tool Provider for Ultra Course View courses
Because these frameworks differ, administrators must maintain both integration types during the transition period.
- Blackboard’s Building Block (B2) framework for Original Course View is deprecated and no longer supported. This article is provided for institutions that are still in transition to Blackboard Ultra (LTI 1.3).
