The steps for opening the video editor vary depending on the Kaltura application you're using.

This article explains how to launch the Video Editor from Content Hubs, the legacy Video Portal, legacy LMS Video, LMS Rich Media Extensions, and the Rich Media CMS.

From Content Hubs

1. Access the media page by clicking on the video's  thumbnail.
2. On the media page, click the three dots below the player.



3. Select Launch Editor.



The video editor opens.

From legacy Video Portal

Option 1:

1. Access the media page by clicking on the video's thumbnail.
2. On the media page, click the Actions menu below the player and select Launch Editor.

Option 2:

1. Go to My Media.
2. Click the pencil icon to the right of the desired video and select Edit.



The edit media page displays.

3. In the right panel, click Launch editor.



The video editor opens.

From LMS Rich Media Extensions

1. Go to My Media. 
2. Click on the video's thumbnail.



The media page displays.

3. Click the three dots below the player.



4. Select Launch editor.



The video editor opens.

From legacy LMS Video

Option 1:

1. Go to the media page by clicking on the video's thumbnail.
2. Click the Actions menu below the player and select Launch Editor.

Option 2:

1. Go to My Media
2. Click the pencil icon to the right of the desired video and select Edit.



The edit media page displays.

3. In the right panel, click Launch editor.



The video editor opens.

From Rich Media CMS

1. On the Entries page, click the video's title or thumbnail. 



The entry details page displays.

2. In the left panel, click Editor.



The video editor page opens.
