Kaltura video editor page

As part of the ongoing upgrade to the new Video Portal and LMS Video experience, the Kaltura video editor page has also been migrated. The editor’s functionality and interface remain the same for now, but its surrounding page layout now matches the updated experience.

What's new

Accessibility fixes - We have added the following accessibility changes:

• Made sure that tab ordering is working correctly.
• Audio selection is now reachable by keyboard navigation.
• Added the correct contrast for save button
• The 'Jump to time" is now reachable by keyboard navigation.
• Change default color to 008297 to match contrast for the whole editor.
• The Zoom buttons are now reachable by keyboard navigation. 

Translations - The Editor is now translated to all languages. 

For Developers - the editor now support a few additional features:

• Ability to create an entry object before calling “Save a Copy”
• The Save buttons are now exposed for external development. 
• The editor now uses a KS to load images and thumbnails.

KEA – Hotspots tab

Create clickable hotspots on top of the player, set the appearance time and duration. 

• Set the hotspot position
• Set the hotspot size
• Set the hotspot color, font, roundness
• Add links per hotspot

Known Issues

• KEA and Player plugin - Hotspots are not supported on entry types other than Video type
   (i.e. Quiz entry / Webcast entry / Audio). KEA HS tab is still available.
• Player plugin - Font / Roundness don’t maintain relative size when played in full screen / on Mobile
• KEA hotspots tab - No Volume control
• KEA hotspots tab – Not accessible via Rich Media CMS yet
