Overview
At the end of March, we implemented a new default transcoding profile that applies to all content created in Kaltura Lecture Capture and Kaltura Personal Capture.
The new default profile applies smart transcoding for greater efficiencies such as storage optimization and immediate availability to high quality content. The new profile includes two default flavors: Playable Source and low bitrate and is an addition to the current default transcoding setting. Consequently, Admins can choose to keep the new profile as their default or manually revert back to the previous setting.
Note that the new profile will only be applied to content that meets certain audio, bitrate, and GOP criteria. All other content will be transcoded based on the current transcoding setting.

Overview
These release notes pertain to Kaltura Capture version 3.2.22 , released July 9, 2018.
Kaltura Capture allows every user to create content everywhere. With a simple, intuitive user interface, anyone to create quality content. Kaltura's robust platform allows you to manage your captured content and share it within your video portal or KAF based application. Kaltura capture is supported both on Windows and Mac.

Known Issues

LEC-1195 | When recording partial screen and capturing slides, the chapters that are created automatically will show the partial screen selection marked in red |
LEC-1192 | Issue can occur when recording system audio with CPU over 99& |
LEC-1217 | When recording two screen with "select area", when disconnecting one screen, the "select area" will move to the second screen. |
LEC-1213 | On Mac 10.10 when clicking around the application, sometimes a grey line can appear |
LEC-1211 | When using audio from the connected camera on Mac version 10.10 and 10.11 there may be an issue with the recording if disconnecting the camera during the recording. |
Limitations

LEC-1141 | Depending on the CPU and PC derivers, it may take up to 10 sec for the recording panel to show, though the recording will start before. |
