The Share module lets administrators control which sharing options appear in the share popup on media pages. It also controls whether the Share button is displayed.
While social sharing options are configured here, embed and oEmbed functionality is managed through the Embed and oEmbed modules, respectively.
Configure
1. Go to your Configuration Management console and click on the Share module. You can also navigate to it directly using a link: https://{your_KMS_URL}/admin/config/tab/share.
The Share page displays.
2. Configure the following:
enabled - Set to 'Yes' to enable the module.
socialShare - Choose which social networks should be available in the share popup. This includes the "Copy a URL" option for sharing media. Choose from the following options:
- Twitter ("X")
- Line
- URL
If all sharing options are cleared and no embed or oEmbed options are available, the Share button is hidden because there is no content to display in the share popup.
3. Click Save.
