Enable this option to adjust seeking capabilities of the player.
Access the player settings
- Log in to your KMC and click the Studio tab.
- Click the player you want to edit from the list (or use the search bar in the top right).
The Player Studio page displays.

Set prevent seek
1. In the Playback options section find Prevent seek and click the toggle to open the settings.
2. Configure the following:
- Prevent forward seek - allows you to prevent seeking forward beyond the maximum current seek time.
- Prevent seek - allows you to prevent seeking completely (both backwards and forwards).
If the plugin is enabled, when hovering over the scrubber, thumbnails and chapters do not display on the timeline, nor do any other cue points.
3. Click Save at the top right of the settings page.
