Set play / pause button visibility

About

You can control whether the player displays the play/pause button during VOD and live playback. This lets you prevent viewers from pausing or stopping playback when needed, such as during live events without DVR.

When the play/pause (or play/stop) control is disabled in the player configuration, viewers can’t pause, stop, or resume playback using the control bar, clicking the video, or keyboard shortcuts. Volume controls remain available.

Access the player settings

  1. Log in to your KMC and click the Studio tab.
  2. The Player Studio page displays.

  3. Click the player you want to edit from the list (or use the search bar in the top right).
