Lecture Capture supports manual and scheduled recordings. A recording resource can't run overlapping sessions.
This article explains what happens when a manual recording overlaps a scheduled session or when you try to schedule two sessions on the same resource.
When a manual recording overlaps a scheduled session
You can't start a manual recording while a scheduled recording is in progress.
If you start a manual recording before a scheduled session, a notification appears 10 minutes before the scheduled recording begins. If you don't stop the manual recording, Lecture Capture saves it with the information recorded up to the scheduled start time. The scheduled recording then begins.
When scheduled sessions overlap
If you try to schedule a session that overlaps another session on the same resource, an error message appears. You can't save the conflicting schedule.
During a scheduled recording
While a scheduled recording is in progress, you can't open the Schedule tab or change the camera, screen, or audio settings. You can pause, stop, or cancel the recording.
