Video bumpers are short video clips that typically show the brand or company that your video represents. Bumpers can play at the start, end, or both.

You can configure bumpers to be the same for all videos in a player or change them per entry using metadata.

The following video demonstrates a bumper Kaltura ad positioned before the content.

The bumper feature lets you:

Play a bumper before the video, after it, or both
Display a clickable bumper that opens a related webpage
Use the same bumper across all videos in a player

You can also vary bumper behavior between videos in the following ways:

Show different bumper clips for different videos
Use different click-through links per video
Control when the bumper appears for each video (before, after, or both)
