Kaltura enables hosting of "closed" Single sign on (SSO) events, attendees of which are based on existing groups in an Identify provider (IdP). Users who are members of those IdP groups are automatically synced to Kaltura and can log into the said "closed" event.
Admins and Event Managers who are authorized to manage the said "closed" event can further manage access to the event via the Event Access tab in the All users page, i.e., granting event access to certain groups, while removing event access from others (also known as "Group selection"), and enabling/disabling the option to invite or publish registration for additional users outside of the synced IdP groups.
Closed events may also be "Invite only", meaning the Event Manager and/or Admin invites relevant attendees (individually or in bulk).
Closed events are created via a custom event template.
Remember - in order to keep the event "closed", do not publish the registration.
