Once enabled, this module allows you to add content directly to channels and galleries from their respective pages. Disabling the module won’t prevent content from being published to the category via the media page or My Media. 

Configure

1. Go to your Configuration Management console, locate the Addcontent module in the left panel, then select it. You can also navigate to it directly using a link: https://{your_site_URL}/admin/config/tab/addcontent.

The Addcontent page displays.



2. Configure the following:

enabled - Set to 'Yes' to enable the module.

tableColumns - Select which columns to display on the Theming-based Embed Kaltura Media table: ID, Type, Tags, Plays, Views, Created At, and Updated At. 

You can enable as many of these columns as you like, but consider screen size and media management needs. Enabling all of them can hurt usability. This setting only applies to the Theming-based page.

3. Click Save.

User experience

• When enabled, the +Add to Channel button is displayed on the channel page.

• When adding media to a channel or gallery, the table columns shown reflect the selection configured in the tableColumns field.
