The Participants tab (people icon) lets you see who's in the session, including each participant's role and stage status. When you're on stage, you can also mute or unmute your microphone.
The Participants tab is available for sessions with a Kaltura Room component, such as Interactive sessions.
Understand participant groups
Depending on the session activity, participants are organized into the following groups based on their stage status:
- Raised Hands – Participants who requested to join the stage.
- On Stage – Participants currently on stage.
- Viewers – Participants watching the session.
Icons next to a participant's name indicate relevant activity or status, such as a raised hand or microphone status.
Expand and collapse groups
You can click the arrow next to each group name to collapse or expand it. If a group is large, use See more or See less to control how many names are shown.
Search for participants
Use the search bar at the top of the Participants tab to find a participant.
Mute or unmute your microphone
When you're on stage, click the microphone icon next to your name to mute or unmute yourself.
