About
Genie saves your conversations as threads, so you can return to them later, continue where you left off, or manage past interactions.
Threads can include questions asked using text-based Genie and, if enabled, conversations started through an Agentic Avatar.
- You can only see your own threads.
- Your conversation history is only available when you’re signed in.
Open your conversation history
1. Click the History button at the top right to open the list of your previous threads.
Each thread represents a previous Genie conversation.
Thread titles are generated automatically based on your conversation.
2. Click a thread to open it in the main conversation area. You can:
- review previous questions and answers
- ask follow-up questions
- continue the conversation
Create a new thread
Click the New thread button at the top right to start a new conversation.
A new thread opens in the Ask anything page, separate from your previous threads.
If you’re not signed in, your conversations aren’t saved, so starting a new thread clears the current conversation.
Delete a thread
Hover over a thread to reveal three dots.
Click the three dots and select Delete.
A confirmation message appears. Confirm to permanently delete the thread.
