News images are an interactive component you can add to a homepage or any template page in Content Hubs.
This component displays a playlist of images with accompanying text. Users can select a news item to open the full article.
Prepare your news images
- Select My Media from the user menu.
- Find the entry you want for your News Item, and click the three dots to the right of it and select Edit.

- In the Name field, enter a title for your News Item.
- In the Description field, enter the article text.
- Click Save.

The 'My Media' page opens.

News items are typically created from images. Use images sized 760 x 920 pixels in JPG or PNG format. If you use a video, a still image from the video is used.
The edit page opens.

Repeat for each News Item you want to create.
Create the playlist
- Select My Playlists from the user menu.
- Click + Create Playlist at the far right.
- Enter a name and description.



The 'Create Playlist' window opens.

4. Click Create.

The 'Add to playlist' page opens.
5. Click +Add to playlist and add the news images that you've created.

6. Click Save.

Your administrator can now add your News Images playlist to the page. For more information, see the templatepages module.
User experience
Below is an example of two News Images on a homepage.

Users can browse the news images displayed on the page and select an image to open and read the full article.
