My History in Video Portal

About

Your watch history is accumulated from all devices you sign into with the same account. Your recently watched videos are displayed on the My History page, with the latest watched first.

Your history also powers the Recently Watched and Continue Watching playlists on the homepage (if available).

The thumbnails displayed on this page include a progress bar, showing how much of each video you’ve watched and where playback will resume.

This feature requires the History module to be enabled.

These instructions apply to the legacy Video Portal. If you’re using the new Video Portal with Theming, see the Content Hubs category.

View My History

Select My History from the user menu.

If this option is missing from the user menu, ask your administrator to configure it in the Headermenu module. Depending on your administrator's setup, the My History page can also be added to the site navigation bar.

The My History page displays.

Understand your history entries

For each media item, standard metadata is displayed, including the thumbnail, name, description, tags, and gallery/channel.

Additional information shows when you last viewed the media. Entries are ordered by most recently watched.

A progress bar appears under each thumbnail, indicating your playback status:

  • No bar – Not watched
  • Partial bar – Partially watched
  • Full bar – Watched
  • Updated color – Rewatched after completion
