The Text Protection plugin gives you more control over content security in your player. When enabled, it prevents viewers from highlighting, selecting, and copying text in captions, transcripts, and Q&A content. This helps protect sensitive information from being copied and shared.

Setup

Features

By default, Text Protection is turned off. When Text Protection is enabled:

• Viewers can’t highlight or select captions shown on the video.
• Copying text from the transcript widget is blocked.
• Text in Q&A widgets can’t be selected or copied.
• Right-click options for copying text are disabled.
