Use the Moderator App to publish attendee questions and moderator responses directly to the Feed. Published Q&As are displayed to all attendees, helping moderators address common topics, increase audience engagement, and keep participants informed during live sessions.

Publish a question from a conversation

Moderators can publish attendee questions directly from an active conversation thread.

1. Hover over the question and select Publish in feed.

   The attendee information, question, and moderator information are automatically populated. The moderator can enter an answer before publishing. An answer is required when publishing to the Feed but is not required when saving a draft.

2. To publish the Q&A on the feed, click Publish to feed. Published Q&As appear as toast notifications during the session and are permanently available in the Feed. To save it as a draft and return to it later, click Save as draft. 

Create a Feed Q&A manually

Moderators can also create a Q&A directly from the Feed tab by selecting Add New > Q&A. They can enter a question and answer, optionally associate the question with a specific attendee or make it anonymous, and add hyperlinks when needed.

Save Q&As as drafts

Draft Q&As remain visible only to moderators until they are published. Drafts can be created from conversation threads or directly from the Feed interface.

Edit published and draft Q&As

Moderators can open the Edit window to modify questions or answers and either save changes as a draft or republish the updated content.

Unpublish a Q&A

If content should no longer be visible to attendees, moderators can unpublish it. The Q&A is removed from attendee view but remains visible within the Moderator app and is marked as unpublished.

Track Q&A activity

Each Q&A record includes tracking information that shows the most recent editor, current status, and latest update time.
