About
Polls help increase audience engagement during live sessions. Published polls appear as attendee notifications and are also available in the Feed. Poll responses are included in event reports and dashboards. Multiple moderators can work on polls at the same time. In the Moderator app, only text polls can be created.
Create a poll
- From the Feed tab, select Add New > Poll.

The Add new poll screen displays.

- Enter a question and at least two answer options. Polls support up to five answer choices, and attendees may select only one answer. Hyperlinks can also be included.
- Use the Show Results toggle to determine whether attendees can see poll results after they submit a response. When enabled, results are displayed as percentages.
- Select Publish to feed to make the poll available to attendees. Published polls appear immediately in attendee notifications and in the Feed. Polls can be saved as drafts and published later. Draft polls are only visible to moderators.
Through the Moderator app, moderators can create only text polls. Through the Chat and Collaboration widget, moderators can create all types of polls: text polls, quiz questions, rating scales, crowd votes, and open-ended questions. Please see Chat & Collaborate Widget for more information.
End a poll
Moderators can close voting by selecting End poll. Once ended, attendees can no longer submit responses. If results are enabled, all attendees can view the final results.

Edit a poll
Only unpublished polls can be edited. Moderators can modify poll content before republishing it.

Unpublish a poll
Unpublishing removes the poll from attendee view while preserving it in the Moderator app. The poll remains available and is marked as unpublished.

Review poll tracking information
Each poll records its state, latest update time, and the moderator who last modified it.
