The Channels module is used to configure roles and permissions for creating channels. This module is also used to set the channel page display, sorting settings and other configurations for channels.

Add channel term of use. Use to configure a policy message that is displayed to users every time a channel is created. The configured text is displayed in the top of the channel creation.

Not applicable for KAF. Set to Yes to support creation of channels that anonymous users can access to. Note that once you change to 'No', anonymous users won't be able to view your public channels and the option to create public channels will be removed from channels create page. Note that if you enabled then disabled the permission, any channel would have to be manually set to a new channel type

Not applicable for KAF. Set to Yes in order to support creation of channels that anonymous users can access; contribution is allowed to logged in users only according to their publishing entitlements. Note: If a channel was created manually (e.g., via the KMC) - this channel might become accessible to anonymous users by enabling this configuration.

Use the drop down to select the channels’ sorting default. The options are: Update Date, Creation Date, Alphabetically - A to Z, Alphabetically Z to A, Members and Subscribers, Media Count.
