Admins can enable the Kaltura Room embed feature in BSE, allowing faculty to embed rooms directly into LMS content.

This feature is supported only with the new Kaltura Room. It does not work for legacy KME rooms.
Enable the feature
In the Configuration Management console, and make sure the following modules are enabled:
- Theming with the 'browseandembed' feature to 'Yes':
- MeetingEntry with the 'EmbedInBSE' setting turned on:
Both old rooms and new rooms may appear in your instance. The EmbedInBSE toggle only controls whether the new room can be embedded via BSE.
All of the modules listed above must be enabled. If any are disabled, the configuration cannot be saved and an error will appear.
Configure room cards
- In the Configuration Management console, open the widgets module.
- Set the default display for embedded room cards in the LMS:
- ThumbnailOnSessionCard – Show or hide the room thumbnail image.
- SpeakerInfoOnSessionCard – Show or hide advanced speaker information (displayed on click).
3. Save your changes.

Add your logo to the room
When users click 'Join now', the room opens in a dedicated page with a simple header. The header can display your organization’s logo, which is configured through the Header module.
- In the Configuration Management console, open the Header module.
- Upload your logo image.
- Add alt text (for accessibility and fallback).
- Save your changes.
The logo is displayed in the header above the room. The logo is not clickable.
