Enable Extended Audio Description (EAD) in the player to allow voice narration of the visuals and actions happening on screen. If you choose to enable extended audio description, additional options display.
The EAD plugin is not supported on live entries.

Access the player settings
- Log in to your Rich Media CMS and click the Studio tab.
- Click the player you want to edit from the list (or use the search bar in the top right).

The Player Studio page displays.

Set extended audio description
1. Scroll down to the Accessibility & language section, find Extended audio description and click the gear icon to open the settings.

2. Configure the following:
- Full screen overlay - Displays the description overlay in full-screen mode.
- Descriptive text – Displays the description text during audio narration. Clear this option to play the narration without displaying the text.
- Audio narration – Plays text-to-speech (TTS) narration for each description. Clear this option if viewers will use a screen reader instead of the built-in narration.
- Keep video paused – Keeps the video paused after the audio narration finishes until the viewer resumes playback or skips the description.
3. Click Save at the top right of the settings page.
