The avatar and background apply to every scene in an avatar video project. Changes are applied immediately to all scenes.
Open the project in the editor. For more information, see Manage avatar video projects.
Open the Avatar panel
In the editor, click Avatar on the upper right.
The Avatar panel opens.
Choose an avatar
- In the Avatar section, click the current avatar to open the avatar gallery.
- Select an avatar from the Library or My avatars tab.
The selected avatar is applied to all scenes.
Create a custom avatar
You can create an avatar using your own image and voice. For more information, see Create a custom avatar.
Set the background
Set the background in the Background section of the Avatar panel. The Color tab is selected by default.
Background options are available only when you use an avatar from the Library. They aren't available when a custom avatar is selected.
Select a preset color
Click one of the preset colors.
The selected color is applied to all scenes.
Select a custom color
- Click the + button to open the color picker.
- Enter your color values and press Enter.
To switch between color code formats, click the selector arrows.
Choose a background image
- Click the Image tab.
- Select a background image from the preset options.
The selected image is applied to all scenes.
Upload a custom image
- Use a PNG or JPEG image. The recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080.
- Images that aren't 16:9 are automatically cropped on the sides to fill the background.
- In the Image tab, click Upload.
- Choose an image from your device.
The uploaded image is applied to all scenes.
To change the image, click Replace image.
To remove a background image and return to a solid color, select the Color tab.
