Administrators can give users the ability to copy channel contents to a different Kaltura account. The following sections outline user capabilities.
This module is for both Content Hubs and legacy Video Portal users.
For technical support, contact Kaltura Customer Care. For all other inquiries, reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
Copy channel
If your admin has enabled and configured the Copy Channel module, capability is displayed for Content Hubs users on the Actions menu, and for legacy Video Portal users as stand-alone button.
Content Hubs users:
From the Actions menu, choose Copy Channel.
The Copy Channel screen displays.
- To copy via form, remain on the Copy via Form tab; enter the Destination partner ID, User ID, Password, and Destination Category ID (optional); then click Submit.
- To copy via XML, click on the Copy via XML tab and click Download XML.
Legacy Video Portal users:
Click the Copy Channel button.
The Copy Channel screen displays.
- To copy via form, enter the Destination partner ID, User ID, Password, and Destination Category ID (optional), then click Submit.
- To copy via XML, click Download XML.
