Kaltura's Content Lab allows you to instantly produce concise summaries and chapters for your videos using AI. Enabling the Summary & chapters plugin allows the AI summary and chapters that were created for your videos to be displayed on the player.
Setup

Features
- Summary and chapters are displayed during playback.
- Timeline displays playback location within current chapter.
- Current chapter name is displayed below timeline.
- Open and close summary and chapters panel on the right side of the player.
- Click Read as overview to read summary and chapters as an overview in the right panel.
- Click Copy to copy the summary and chapters.
- Click Download to download a PDF version of the summary and chapters.
- Click Share to share a chapter of a video.
- Expand or collapse chapter summaries in the right panel.
Download a PDF version of the summary and chapters
Click the Download PDF button to download the summary and chapters as a PDF file.
The file is downloaded to your computer.
Share a chapter of a video
To share a chapter of a video, the Share & embed plugin must be enabled.
- Click the Share button to the right of the chapter you would like to share.
The Share screen displays with the start time of the chapter and the video name.
- Share via:
- Social networks - Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Embed URL
You can also click the Copy button and copy the URL to share.
