Screen annotations



Annotations give visual interest to your video. Click on the pencil icon to open and use the various tools to annotate. When you have finished, click the pencil icon to return to cursor mode.

Annotations are available for screen recordings only. Annotations are disabled if you are recording from your camera only.

The annotations include:

  1. Pencil draw - draw freely on your screen, change scale, change pencil color, return to cursor
  2. Arrow - draw an arrow to point out a specific element on your screen, change scale, change arrow color, return to cursor
  3. Text box - add text anywhere on your screen (maximum 500 chars), change size and color, special characters, add links, different languages, copy / paste text, empty text box, create multiple text boxes
  4. Cursor - add color to highlight to your viewer the particular action you're performing with your cursor 
  5. Select - select an area on the screen
  6. Trash - clear the annotation actions
  7. Whiteboard - create a clean slate for additional annotations
  8. Pencil width - increase or decrease the color width
  9. Color palette - Select pencil color: white, red, blue, black, yellow, and green.
