You can install your organization’s Content Hubs site as an app on your phone, tablet, or computer, with no app store needed.

The app opens the site in its own window, with the same login and content as in your browser. On a phone, you can open it straight from your home screen instead of finding it in your browser.

Before you start

Open your organization’s Content Hubs site using its web address or a link shared with you. Use a supported browser, and don’t use a private or incognito window.

If the Incompatible browser popup opens, select Copy link and paste the link into a supported browser. On an iPhone or iPad, use Safari.

Install the app on a phone or tablet

iPhone or iPad

1. Open the site in Safari.
A banner appears at the top of the page.
2. Select Install app.



The Install the app popup opens.



3. Select the Share icon.
4. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
5. Select Add.

The app icon appears on your home screen.

Android phone or tablet

1. Open the site in Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet, or Opera.
A banner appears at the top of the page.



2. Select Install app.
Your browser's install prompt opens, with the app name and your site's address.

3. Select Install.
The app icon appears on your home screen.

Install the app on a computer

When you open the site on your computer, a banner appears at the top of the page with an Install app option.

Chrome or Edge

1. In the banner, click Install app.
2. Follow your browser's prompt to install the app.
The app opens in its own window.

You can also install the app from the install icon in your browser's address bar. It opens the same prompt.

Safari on a Mac

1. In the banner, click Install app.

   The Install the app popup opens with the steps.

   

2. In the browser toolbar, click the Share icon.
3. Click Add to Dock.
4. Click Add.
The app icon appears in your Dock.

Install the app on your phone using a QR code

If you're on your computer and want the app on your phone, use the QR code instead of typing your site's address on your phone.

1. In the banner at the top of your site, click Install via QR code.



The Install via QR code window opens.



2. Scan the QR code with your iPhone or Android phone.
The site opens on your phone.
3. Follow the installation steps for your phone above.

Uninstall the app

Uninstall the app the same way as other apps on your device.
