Feature |
Description |
My Media Gallery – Upload Media Once, Use Everywhere |
Each user has a personal, searchable My Media gallery for uploading, managing, and sharing media. Users are able to use and reuse any of the videos in this repository in various locations within Moodle as well as across various Kaltura applications in the institution. Additionally they can use this gallery to mark which of their videos will be available for use by authorized users in specific courses. |
Add Media Anywhere in Moodle via the File Picker |
Kaltura integrates with the Moodle File Picker and with the WYSIWYG editor as an external repository. This simple flow enables users to embed their own previously uploaded media, as well as media shared by other users, in areas within Moodle where video was not easily accessible before: forum posts, video-based quizzes, surveys and more. Institutions can use this functionality to set up a faculty repository for reusing media from various courses across the institution. |
