Kaltura Screen Recorder |
Easily record the screen along with audio and webcam to create and publish screencasts. Instructors and students can use this feature to record and share lectures, presentations, software tutorials, and other content. The Screen Recorder is accessible from My Media, Course Gallery and the Mashup Tool. The screen records include:

Enhanced Security Support |
Allows users to user access control by Kaltura Secret, to enforce maximum security for users. |

Engagement reports for instructors |
Understand how media is used in your course. Get answers to questions like: Are students really watching the videos? Which students watch the videos? Which videos are being watched? Are the videos being watched to the end? Which students contribute media to the course and how does that media fare? |

Create new media from the Mashup Tool |
Creating an announcement and you suddenly realize that you want to record yourself or upload media to be included in it? Now you can do it all from the same location. Simply launch the Kaltura Mashup from the text editor and upload new media or use media that was uploaded in the past. The same flow exists wherever you have access to the text editor: in assignments, tests, quizzes, forums, blogs, and more. |

Faculty can easily share content with each other by making their media public in the searchable Faculty Repository. The Faculty Repository also allows faculty to use library/curriculum media content for their courses. |

A Kaltura account can have a maximum amount of 1000 categories. Since each course is represented as a category, Kaltura Video Building Block can work with up to 1000 courses. |
